Bridges for Youth Centers
At several locations in Springfield and one in Marshfield, MO, Bridges for Youth Centers seek to show unconditional love to kids aged 6-18 by providing after-school programs that include free snacks, devotions, prayer and fun activities. On Friday evenings, they provide a full meal for the children. First Free partners with this ministry through monthly support.
Convoy of Hope
Convoy of Hope is known worldwide for their disaster response teams and relief work. They also partner with local churches in the US and abroad to provide necessities for the poor on an ongoing basis. Attendees from First Free volunteer with this organization in local outreaches that provide free groceries, haircuts, family portraits, medical attention, a job fair, kids’ play area and a free meal for those in attendance. Guests at these events have the opportunity to be prayed for and hear the Gospel and then receive follow-up from churches close by. On the third Tuesday of each month, families from First Free participate in Hands of Hope, helping process and package donations for Convoy of Hope outreaches.

Operation Christmas Child-Samaritan's Purse
“Every shoe box offers an opportunity to share the Good News of the Savior with a hurting child.” --Franklin Graham, President Each year in November, First Free partners with Samaritan’s Purse through the Operation Christmas Child program. Participants fill plastic shoe-boxes with small gifts and toiletries. Missionaries at Samaritan's Purse distribute the boxes with Gospel messages to needy children. Through this simple investment of a little time and money, we help bring joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide.
Pregnancy Care Center
First Free supports this life-affirming ministry through monthly donations. We also encourage participation in their annual Walk 4 Life and other events that provide resources for the PCC. The Pregnancy Care Center offers free pregnancy testing and counseling, parenting and adoption classes, maternity and baby supplies, labor and birth classes and community/medical referrals. Their abstinence education program, Choices, empowers young people to make healthy relationship choices—effectively preventing many unplanned pregnancies.
Springfield Victory Mission
Victory Mission distributes emergency food, clothing, household goods, furniture and appliances for people in need. Their Back-to-school outreach provides clothing, haircuts and school supplies for children from low-income families. Holiday food baskets are available at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Residential programs for men and women provide long-term housing, a 12-Step program, discipleship, vocational, parenting and life-skills training. First Free supports this ministry through monthly donations. In addition, several Community Groups and individuals from the church participate in Victory Mission’s outreaches to the poor and help disciple those involved in their training programs.
